SCRIMSHAW WALRUS TUSKS (2), one with a likeness of Admiral Howe and the sailing ship 'Brunswick'; another., with a full length figure of President Lincoln and the sailing ship 'Southern Star'. Very fine. (2)

These are from the private collection of Mrs de Quay ex Mayor of Theolle-sur-Mer near Cannes, France who died October 1999, aged 82. These pieces were commissioned to be engraved by an unknown artist c.1940-1944.
