IVORY PLAQUE, from the Mogul period, a uniface coloured plaque 152x87mm of seated male ruler with two nude females where he attentatively fondles the breast of each woman, all are seated on cushions and grass before a domed building, bottles and wine glass with red wine in the forground, together with hand crafted box to house the plaque.

Ex Marharajah of Travancore (India) Palace Collection, disposed of after Indian Self Government and acquired by the vendor G.A. Lloyd AO OBE at that time.
