PHILIPPINES, childs necklace with large boars tusk and beads, together with multicoloured woven cloth sash with tassles of native workmanship, together with small woven cloth samples of Limba and Mende. Very fine. (4)

In New Guinea examples of woven cloth were called Mle and were used to buy wives, pay taxes and debt, some are embroided as is this large example.
