PAPUA NEW GUINEA, Philipines and Vanuatu, boar tusk money made as a necklace, (9 pieces in the necklace), contains 8 upper canine teeth, two thick boar's tusks, and a two thirds circle boar tusk (Opitz p.21). Very fine.

This example with attached ticket stating adult necklace from the Philipines. Opitz notes prices for various types of circle boar tusks. They were used for land purchase, blood money, ransom, membership etc.
