CRUSADER COINAGE, Jerusalem, Baldwin III, (1152-1162), silver obol, (0.45 grams), 'smooth series', Metcalf Type 5, obv. cross pattee, rev. tower of David, (Metcalf 165-167, Sch. III/24, Mal.21). Very fine for type and rare.

Ex Mathew Rich Collection, originally from B.A. Seaby, December 1978, sold at Galata Auction, August 1986 (lot 385) and listed with CNG Sale 53 March 2000, (lot 2018, US$250).
