CARACALLA, (A.D. 198-217), silver denarius, issued 199, Laodicea mint, (3.052 grams), obv. laureate bust of Caracalla, draped and cuirassed to right, around IMP CAE M AVR ANT AVG P TR P II, rev. Spes walkling to left, holding flower and raising skirt, around SPES PVBLICA, (S.1957, RIC 341, RSC 600). Good very fine/very fine and scarce.
