HADRIAN, (A.D. 117-138), silver denarius, Rome mint, issued A.D. 119, (3.270 grams), obv. laureate head of Hadrian to right, around IMP CAESAR TRAIAN HADRIANVS AVG, rev. P M TR P COS III around, Genius or Bonus Eventus naked standing left, sacrificing out of patera over lighted altar, holding corn-ears, (S.-, RIC 90, RSC 1089). Dark attractive tone, extremely fine and rare in this condition.
