ZENO, (A.D. 474-491 second reign), gold solidus, Constantinople mint, fifth issue, c.A.D.485-491 (4.06 grams), obv. helmeted and cuirassed facing bust of Zeno holding spear and shield, around D N ZENO PERP AVG, rev. VICTORI A AVGGGB, Victory standing left holding long cross, star in right field, CONOB in exergue, (S.4385, RIC 929, LRBC 620ff). Light reverse scratches, nearly extremely fine and very scarce.
