Description

Third Reich. Feurwehren (fire brigade) junior subordinate rank's ceremonial dress dagger with nickel plated, fullered single-edged blade 246mm in length. Maker's mark on ricasso nearly illegible. Cross piece, reversed quillons and pommel all plated and with chequered black plastic grips secured by two rivets. Overall length 368mm. Together with blackened steel sheath with oval frog stud. Plating worn in some places, slight damage to plastic grip and blackening on sheath scuffed, otherwise good fine.
