SICILY, Acragas (Agrigentum), (c.520-472 B.C.), silver didrachm, Jenkins Group III, (8.29 grams), obv. eagle with closed wings standing to right, A[K] below eagle, [RA] behind eagle, rev. crab within circular incuse field, (cf.S.709, SNG Cop.29 [Pl.1 similar dies]. cf.SNG ANS 933 [similar dies]). Slightly off centred, of good silver with grey patina, fine/very fine and a rare type.
