ITALY, Campania, Neapolis (Naples), (c.340-300 B.C.), silver nomos, stater or didrachm, (7.40 grams), obv. head of nymph to right, monogram, pileus behind, rev. bull walking to right, crowned by Nike flying right; below TMO monogram, below exergue [NEOP]OLIT[WN], (cf.S.307, Sambon 449b, SNG Fitz 149, SNG ANS 322-3, SNG Milan 106 [same dies]). Lightly toned, good very fine/very fine, scarce.
