THRACE, Kingdom of, Lysimachos, (323-281 B.C.), silver tetradrachm, (17.226 grams), Pella mint, issued 286/5- 282/1 B.C., obv. head of Alexander to right, with diadem and horn of Ammon, rev. Athena enthroned to left, supporting Nike, spear behind, monogram of AIN and **PHUA* to left, to right **BASILEWS*, to far left **LUSIMAXOU*, (cf.S.6814, M.500, Thompson 244, Armenak 931). Light attractive tone, extremely fine and rare.

Ex Spink & Son, London, 1985 with ticket of earlier owner.
