HERACLIUS, (610-641), gold solidus, issued 636-637, Constantinople mint, Officina Z, (4.408 grams), Class IVB(j), obv. standing figures of Heraclius in centre, Heraclius Constantine on left, and Heraclonas on right, cross above, rev. Cross potent on three steps, monogram to left, BI monogram to right, around VICTORIA AVGUA, CONOB in exergue, (S.767, DOC [41g], BMC 74 =T.403). Slightly off centred, otherwise nearly extremely fine and rare.
