GIBRALTAR, Robert Keeling, pattern two quarts or quartos, 1802, obv. view of rock of Gibraltar above date 1802, rev. triple towered castle, (KM.Pn1, Pr.14). Trace of mint bloom, otherwise FDC and excessively rare being one of only three known.

Ex Goodman Collection The piece is a pattern not issued for currency struck for Robert Keeling. His name is incorrectly spelt on this piece but corrected on the 1810 issue. See Pridmore for details of the issuer. The R.J.Ford example realised Å“1500 in the Spink Coin Auctions No.79 (1990) sale.
