Jupiter (or Apollo Vejovis) head to right, with oak wreath, thunderbolt below, rev. Jupiter in quadriga to right, (S.266, Cr.350A/2, Syd.723) (illustrated); L.Julius Bursio, (c.85 B.C.), silver denarius, Rome mint, (3.62 grams), obv. Genius (or Apollo Vejovis) bust laureate to right, trident and eagle head behind, rev. Victory in quadriga to right, nothing above, [L. I]VLI. BVRSIO in exergue, (S.268, Cr.352/1, Syd.728a, B.Julia 5); L. Papius, (c.79 B.C.), silver denarius, Rome mint, (3.81 g), obv. Juno Sospita head to right, wearing goat's skin, ladle behind, rev. Gryphon prancing to right, vase below, L PAPI in exergue, (S.311, Cr.384/1, Syd.773, B.Papia 1). Serrated edge for the last coin, illustrated one with banker's marks, otherwise fine - very fine. (4)
