BACTRIA, Kingdom of, Demetrios I, (c.200-185 B.C.), silver tetradrachm, (16.85 g), obv. draped bust of Demetrios to right wearing elephant skin head-dress all within dotted border, rev. youthful Herakles standing facing crowning himself holding club and lion skin, to left **DHMHTPIOU* and PK monogram, to right **BASILEWS, (S.7526, HGC 12 63, SNG ANS 187, Bopearachchi Series 1D, No.1 [Pl.4], M.103d). Toned, lightly tooled, good fine.
