SYRIA, Seleucis & Pieria, Antiochia ad Orontem (Antioch), Nero (A.D. 54-68), silver tetradrachm, (14.94 g), obv. laureate head to right of Nero, **NERWN KAISAROS SEBASTOU*, rev. date (year 111 of Caesarian Era = A.D. 62/3), eagle standing to left, on thunderbolt, wings spread, palm branch in front (cf.S.618, Prieur 89, RPC 4189); Syria, Seleucis and Pieria, Antiochia ad Orontem (Antioch), Trajan, (A.D. 98-117), silver tetradrachm (14.48 g), issued 103-109, obv. Trajan laureate head to right, around AYTOKP KAIC NEP TPAIANOC CEB GEPM DAK, rev. eagle standing facing on club, wings spread, head to left, around DHMAPX EX YPATE E, (cf.S.1077, Wruck 149, BMC -, Rouvier 19, 23) (illustrated). Toned, very fine, scarce. (2)
