CARACALLA, (A.D. 198-217), denarius, Rome mint, issued A.D.214, (2.92 g), obv. laureate head of Caracalla to right, around ANTONINVS PIVS AVG GERM, rev. around PM TR P XVII COS IIII P P, Apollo seated to left, holding branch and leaning on lyre, (S.6832, RIC 238a, RSC 242). Toned, extremely fine.
