THESSALY, Larissa (under Macedonian domination), (365-356 B.C.), silver drachm, (5.86 g), obv. facing head of nymph Larissa three-quarter to left, hair in ampyx, rev. horse grazing to left, plant below, above **LARIS*, in exergue **AIWN*, (S.2120, Lorber, Hoard, Phase L-I, 17-21, BCD Thessaly I -, BCD Thessaly II 288, HGC 4, 452). Good very fine with attractive grey tone, minor roughness on the reverse.

Ex Brian Bolton Collection coming from CNG eSale 377, June 29, 2016 (lot 37), previously from the BCD Collection who bought it in March 1983, with tickets.
