THRACE, The Thracian Chersonesos (Cardia?), (386-338 B.C.), silver hemidrachm, (2.49 g), obv. forepart of lion looking back, rev. quadripartite incuse square, dot A in one corner, grape cluster in opposite corner, (cf.S.1603, McClean 4088, SNG Cop. -, BMC 18). Lightly toned, nearly extremely fine.

Ex Brian Bolton Collection and previously CNG Auction 323, lot 28 with tickets.
