SICILY, Akragas, (c.460-450/46 B.C.), silver tetradrachm 23mm, (17.41 g), obv. sea eagle standing left, to left upwards AKRAC on right ANTO**S*, rev. a crab, floral ornament below, all within shallow incuse circle, (S.741 var., Lee Group II [ Lee. "The Flower of Adonis at Eryx" in NC 1999], SNG ANS 983 [same obv. die], HGC 2, 79). Nearly extremely fine, toned, a scarce variety.
