ITALY, Bruttium, Brettian League, (215-205 B.C.), silver drachm, (4.42 g), obv. head of diademed winged Nike to right, star behind, rev. naked male figure (youthful Dionysos) standing facing, crowning himself and holding long torch in left hand , thymiaterion in field to right, to left **BRETTIWN, G* in right field, (S.514, HN 1960, SNG ANS 17). Nearly extremely fine and scarce.
