USA, 1851 - 1856, Toppan, Carpenter, Casilear & Co issues, stamps on a Scott Album leaf, imperf. 1 cent (3), 3 cents (2), 5 cents (illustrated), ten cents (2) and twelve cents SG 11 - 19, Scott 7, 8A, 9, 10, 11, 12, 14, 15 and 17 (illustrated), one cents with close margins, others with generally clear margins, (high CV). Higher values are fine used, 5c rare. (9)
Ex C.R. Deane Collection, several from Status (Scott 17, cost $273, 18.3.2005), Rex and fair (Scott 14, cost $129 1.2.2001), Shields (Scott 7, 9 and 11). Scott 17 comes with authentication certificate from The Philatelic Foundation of New York, 5/20/87 No.173300.
