IMPERIAL GERMANY, Prussian Guard Uhlans (Lancers) Officers tschapka, c1889, a lightly restored example, black leather body with high gloss patent finish, yellow cloth covered mortarboard piped in gilt flecked bullion piping and black patent leather mortartop board, large pre-war white metal officers guards eagle helmet plate with enamelled guards patttern officers centre wappen, brass convex chin scales with officers state and national cockades, with brown and white buffalo hair parade plume, missing the plume holder cockade, no cap lines, original light leather liner and cream silk lining. Extremely fine.
