ELAGABALUS, (A.D. 218-222), silver antoninianus, Rome mint, issued A.D. 219, (5.054 grams), obv. radiate bust of Elagabalus draped and cuirassed to right, around IMP CAES ANTONINVS AVG, rev. around SALVS ANTONINI AVG, Salus standing to left, feeding snake held in her arms, (cf.S.7498, RIC 137, RSC 260). Extremely fine/nearly extremely fine, rare.
