CRISPINA, wife of Commodus, (m. A.D.177), silver denarius, Rome mint, issued 180-2, (2.836 grams), obv. draped bust to right of Crispina with hair bound up behind head, around CRISPINA AVGVSTA, rev. HILARITAS around, Hilaritas standing to left, holding long palm and cornucopiae, (S.6000, RIC 282, RSC 18). Good very fine and scarce.
