SABINA, wife of Hadrian, (died A.D.136-7), silver denarius, Rome mint, (3.484 grams), issue c.A.D. 136, obv. draped bust to right of Sabina, with hair knotted at back of head, around SABINA AVGVSTA, rev. CONCORD IA AVG around, Concordia seated to left, holding patera and sceptre, cornucopiae under seat, (cf.S.3919, RIC 391, RSC 24); Hadrian, (A.D. 117-138), silver denarius, Rome mint, issued A.D. 119, (3.032 grams), issued A.D. 120, obv. laureate bust with drapery on far shoulder, around IMP CAESAR TRAIAN HADRIANVS AVG, rev. around P M TR P COS III, Salus seated to left feeding from patera a snake coiled around altar, (S.3525, RIC 98, RSC 1151). Fine - very fine, first coin scarce. (2)
