SABINA, wife of Hadrian, (died A.D.136-7), silver denarius, issued 136, (3.002 grams), Rome mint, obv. draped bust to right of Sabina, with hair knotted at back of head, around SABINA AVGVSTA, rev. Concordia standing left, holding patera and cornucopiae, around CONCOR DIA AVG, (S.3918 [£200 EF], RIC H390, RSC 3a, BMC 929). Toned, striking flaw at edge, nearly extremely fine/extremely fine and rare.

Ex Patrick Cooper Collection with his ticket and bought from B.A.Seaby (London) in the Coin & Medal Bulletin list 368 in 1951 (No.B751 for 11/6!).
