HADRIAN, (A.D. 117-138), silver denarius, issued 128, Rome mint, (3.748 grams), obv. laureate head to right of Hadrian, drapery on left shoulder, around HADRIANVS AVGVSTVS, rev. COS III around, Pudicitia veiled seated to left on throne, (S.3478, RIC 178, RSC 363). Bright, nearly extremely fine, a rare variant.
