Q. ANTONIUS BALBUS, (c.83-2 B.C.), silver denarius, Rome mint, (3.874 grams), obv. Jupiter laureate head to right, S C behind, rev. Victory in quadriga to right, Q ANTO BALB/PR exergue, B under horses, (S.279, Cr.364/1d, Syd.742b, B.Antonina 1). Serrated edge, slightly off centred on reverse, flaw on obverse head, otherwise extremely fine.
