M.TULLIUS, (c.120 B.C.), silver denarius, Rome mint, (3.784 grams), obv. Roma helmeted head right, ROMA behind, rev. Victory in quadriga to right, holding palm, wreath above, X below. M.TV[LLI] in exergue, (S.155, Cr.280/1, Syd.531). Bright, good very fine.

The mark of value under the horses on the reverse is a most unusual feature of this issue. Likewise the symbol of a wreath above the horses.
