PARTHIA, Kingdom of, Mithradates II, (123-88 B.C.), silver drachm, (4.028 grams), Rhagae mint, obv. medium bust to left with beard, wearing tiara with eight pointed star in centre and torque ending in two dots, rev. archer seated right on throne, five line inscription, (cf.S.7372, Sellwood 28/6, cf.Shore 98). Very fine and rare.
