LYDIA, Tralles, (c.155-145 B.C.), silver cistophoric tetradrachm, (12.324 grams), obv. cista mystica containing serpent, all within ivy wreath, rev. bow in case between two coiled serpents, to left **[T]RA, to right a filleted tripod, (cf.S.4745, Kleiner and Noe Series 23, same dies as No.51, BMC 13 (same obverse die), Hunter 2 (same obverse die), SNG von Aulock 3252 [same obverse die]). Nearly very fine and scarce.

A rare symbol known from seven other coins published by Kleiner & Noe.
