EGYPT, New Kingdom, 18th Dynasty, Amenhotep III (circa 1386-1353 B.C.), cream glazed steatite scarab (11x8mm), face depicts the pharaoh's name, made up of Ra neb maat. Amenhottep was ninth pharaoh of the 18th Dynasty, also known as Amenophis III and Nebma'atre. Minor chips, (cf.Rowe 544). Very fine and edge pierced.
