BANK OF NEW SOUTH WALES, five, ten, twenty and fifty pounds, Melbourne, undated (18- printed), unsigned specimen notes, perforated 'Specimen C.Skipper & East (partial) in signature field, imprint of Charles Skipper & East London, all notes on paper with wide margin 'Specimen of Plate, prepared by Charles Skipper & East March 1885' printed in margin on five pound note, along with 'Set 26' handwritten in blue crayon (five and ten pounds similar MVR type 7e(2), p.83 fig.85, ten pounds double printed on reverse, twenty and fifty pounds similar MVR type 7(c), p.80 fig.81). Folds, creases, three notes with pinholes in margin, right hand corner cut for cancellation, otherwise very fine - extremely fine (4)
