EGYPT, Alexandria, Salonina, wife of Gallienus, (A.D. 253-268), billon tetradrachm, year 14 = A.D. 266-267, (10.11 g), obv. draped bust of Salonina to right, around KOPNH**LIA* CA**L*WNEINA CEB, rev. LI*D** to right, Elpis standing to left, holding a plant, palm in front, (cf.S.10711, Koln 2979). Very attractive bronze patina, well struck with a fine portrait, extremely fine.
