EGYPT, Kingdom of, Ptolemy V Epiphanes (205-180 B.C.), silver tetradrachm, (13.70 g), Alexandria mint, obv. diademed head of Ptolemy I to right, with aegis, dotted border, rev. eagle to left with closed wings, standing on thunderbolt, around **BASILEWS PTOLEMAIOU*, (S.7856, Sv. 1231, SNG Cop. 244-5, Pitchfork -). Minor surface marks, trace of horn silver, otherwise very fine, scarce.
