GEORGE VI, 1951, Jubilee of Federation, together with photos of seven proposed designs for this coin by Vernon Lorimer and a typed note of the background to these, printed at the bottom in pencil, 'From Owen Fleming/To Les Carlisle/1970s'. Extremely fine.

Vernon Lorimer was an artist employed by the Commonwealth Bank of Australia who, along with other artists, was commissioned by the Treasury Department of the Commonwealth Government to submit designs for the proposed Federation florin.
