BROKEN HILL A.P.S. (Amateur Photographic Society), 1906, in gilt bronze by J.A.R., obverse, naked female wearing a cloak in chariot pulled to right by three horses and extending a wreath in her right hand above the head of a kneeling recipient, sweeping from left bottom and above is a ribbon scroll inscribed, 'Broken Hill A.P.S. 1906', reverse with laurel spray extending from an unfurling scroll inscribed, Enlargements' and above inscribed, 'E.A.Whitehead'. With J.A.Restall case of issue, uncirculated.

The award was made for the 2nd Annual Exhibition of the Broken Hill Amateur Photographic Society held in June 1906. Mr E.A.Whitehead also won a similar award to the one above but for 'Pictorial Photography' (see Noble Numismatics Sale 79, lot 965).
