FRANCE, Napoleonic, Return of the emperor to Paris 1815, in bronze (40mm), by Brenet and Andrieu, obverse crowned eagle flying over the sea, reverse Napoleon welcomes a civilian and a soldier (Bramsen 1591); Constitutional Charter, Louis XVIII 1814, in bronze (40mm), by Andrieu, obverse bust right, reverse Louis on throne being welcomed by representatives (Bramsen 1468); Death of Marshall Brune 1815, in bronze (40mm), by Caunois, obverse bust right, reverse legend in wreath (Bramsen 1705), plain edge original strikings. Extremely fine. (3)
