ADELAIDE POUND, 1852, first type, with beaded inner circle on the reverse and ever present die break at 12 o'clock rim to inner circle. Relatively unworn but with a dent either side near the centre (from clamping?), otherwise very fine and very rare.

Ex Spink Australia Sale 7 (lot 569) and Noble Numismatics Sale 67 (lot 1245) and previously Sotheby Sale 1st May 1969 (lot 219) and W.J.Noble Collection, then sold in a Geoff K.Gray Sale.
