THE ORIENTAL BANK CORPORATION, one pound, issued at Melbourne, 1 Jany 1881, (date printed), No. 971869 hand signed by uncertain Manager and entered by J.Marton, printed on watermarked paper of uncertain type, with imprint to left at bottom of Perkins, Bacon & Co. London, with vignettes of scene with train and in top corners oval framed tablet with £1, all within rectangular ornate border, back with five large circles intertwined, black on white (MVR.1c). Corner missing, many folds and creases, some surface wear, age tone, somewhat dirty, otherwise very good and very rare.
