ZEUGITANIA, Carthage, (c.241-221 B.C.), AE 27, (12.44 g), obv. head of Tanit to left, crowned with wreath of corn, wearing earring with single pendant, rev. free horse standing to right, palm tree with fruit behind, (cf.S.6506, M.172, SNG Cop.190, Alexandropoulos 372, 44 ("Billon, Dreifach-Schekel"), cf.Visona 35 [dates 235-230 B.C.]). Appears to be overstruck, green patina, otherwise good fine and very scarce.
