ZEUGITANIA, Carthage, (c.240 B.C.), gold sixth stater, Carthage mint, (2.42 grams), obv. head of Tanit left, wreathed with corn, rev. horse standing right, palm tree behind, (cf.S.6478, Jenkins and Lewis 401, example in British Museum). Worn, short on flan, porous, otherwise fine and rare.
