HADRIAN, (A.D. 117-138), gold aureus, issued 118, Rome mint, (7.31 g), obv. laureate bust to right of Hadrian, draped and cuirassed, around IMP CAESAR TRAIAN HADRIANVS AVG, rev. P M TR P COS DES III around, in exergue SALVS AVG, Salus seated to left holding flower and lifting skirt, (S.3418, RIC 46, Cal.1368, C.1349). Full flan, as struck, good extremely fine and very rare in this condition.
