Leslie James Winward, born 12Apr1919 at Preston, Vic; Enl.19Jun1940 at Caulfield, Vic; accidental death 12Oct1943 serving as Act/Corporal with 2/3 Coy AASC; buried at Atherton War Cemetery, Atherton Tableland, Qld; recorded on Roll of Honour at Australian War Memorial, Canberra and on Roll of Honour at Whittlesea.
