GREECE, bronze head of Alexander the Great, made in Hellenistic period, 2nd Century BC, flowing hair with anastole, back of head with flat surface, broken off at neck (45x35mm). Fine dark brown patina, of fine style, very fine and rare.

Ex Giessener Munzhandlung Dieter Gorny auction 93, Munich November 20, 1998 (lot 3106) and David G.L.Worland Collection.
