THE LONDON CHARTERED BANK OF AUSTRALIA, uniface black and white printer's proof on card, ten pounds, Sydney, 18-, imprint of Perkins, Bacon & Co, London, Patent Hardened Steel Plate, SPECIMEN stamped in Manager signature reserve, pencilled 'March 7th 1855' in lower margin (MVR 1a). Remnants of glue marks on back corners, otherwise good extremely fine.
