OLIVER CROMWELL, pattern crown by Thomas Simon, 1658 (S.3226; ESC 10) Die flaw apparent, pitted, tooled and with light surface scratches, probably once gilded and cleaned causing the various faults, otherwise good very fine and very scarce.
