IRELAND, Philip and Mary, (1554-1558), issued 1555, silver base shilling, (8.38g), obv. facing busts of Philip and Mary, crown above, legend ends ANGL, rev. crowned harp, crowned P and crowned M to either side, mm portcullis, (D&F.232; S.6500 [£1500 VF]). Nearly very fine and very rare in this condition, about as good as illustrated Spink example.
